One thing that might be helpful is for you to explain to the press how you are so well informed. Are you a customer service expert with a degree? Are you involved because staff were rude to you personally (not one, but I'm talkin the whole staff) and you worked your way up the ladder eventually speaking in front of the city council without results? Is this action that the staff committed something that, if not performed by a government employee, would put someone behind bars?

I once did an internet search on a window replacement company and found several hits for complaints, and a lot fewer hits that were ringing endorsements. Turns out I hired them and they did a fabulous job. Turns out that all you ever hear about on the internet are complaints. People, including me, seldom spend the time to write glowing recommendations.

Doing more in depth research I found that most of the complaints were written by the same disgruntled customer and for all I know it was the owner of a company in competition with the company that worked for me.

Unless you have concrete evidence, most people will look at you like you're a crack pot. Second hand evidence off the internet is nothing.
References :
Seriously get over it, it's a library that is run by the government and the government runs everything poorly. I agree customer service should be better but this issue is not important enough that people will take time out of their busy schedules to demonstrate for.

Child abuse, domestic violence, anti obama, these are all things worth protesting, customer service at the library....not so much.
