They attract a lot of foreign students as a place to socialise as they carry a lot of foreign language news papers and have free internet. The State Library of WA (Also known as the Alexander Library) is run by the State Government and is a reference library for researchers and contains a lot of historic records. I go there frequently to find information which i cant get anywhere else, because it has such a large variety and amount of books, DVDs, CD's, Newspapers, etc. It's located in Alexander Library Building which is part of the Perth Cultural Centre. Situated in Northbridge between Francis Street and the James Street Mall. The multimillion dollar complex includes a number of elevators for easy access to the upper floors, as well as stairs.
