I have the iPod mini, and I just got the iPod Touch. How can I make the iPod touch the main iPod for iTunes?

Everytime I try to add songs the the iPod touch, it also adds songs the the mini, and I don’t want that. Please help me, I’m getting frusterated with the whole system and all i want to do is make it to where my iPod touch gets the music from the main library…

All you have to do is plug in your mini, and change the settings to manually manage the songs. Then when you add songs to iTunes and plug in your mini, the songs won’t sync to the mini, unless you manually drag and drop ‘em there.

You can maintain the automatic sync setting on your touch. :D

You should be able to un-install your iPod mini from your iTunes. You wont be able to change things around or add songs though. The Apple store has a phone system for iPod help. You should call them.
