How do I transfer my purchased items in my iTunes Library to another Library on a different computer?

But still have the content on each computer? I’m trying to get my purchased items on a different computer with no luck. I have authorized the computer already but it’s still blank. Also, if I delete something one one Library, then will it, too, be deleted on the other Library in the other computer?

Just authorizing the computer won’t copy all of your music. You need to actually copy the .mp3 or equivalent files to the iTunes Library of the second computer.
Just drag the files off of iTunes and into a flash drive or removable media and then vise versa on the other computer.

And no, the two libraries would be completely independent of one another.

Also, if you don’t want to copy files, and your computers are on a network, you can turn on sharing in iTunes’ preferences to stream the music from one computer to the other.

http://www.floola.com/ is an excellent alternative to itunes. it will read the library from any ipod, whether or not it is in your itunes. doing it this way will save alot more time than the alternate route.
