how do you get itunes to download 3.0 software on ipod touch from the computers at the library?

i have an ipod touch and i bought the 3.0 software but i cant download it because my computers internet is to slow and it wont let me download the new software. The only thing i can think of is to download it at the library but i dont know how to get itunes on those computers. i am also looking for a way to get it easier but i dont really know any others,
