Is it rude to read library books on the toilet at home?

Like if you found out the library books you borrowed had been read on other people’s toilets how would you feel?

lol hey its your home im sure other people do it too and don’t care. just remember to put the book down before you wipe.

    As long as they wash their hands and don’t get anything on the book, it doesn’t really matter.

    well i think that as long as nothing gets on it who’s going to find out? and even if it is rude i dont have people watching me while im on the toilet so it doesnt rely matter

    Yes, it’s rude to read a library book on the toilet. Eww. Especially if you rest it on your lap.

    It may not be a good idea to read public materials while you are in the toilet. There might be some people who do not care about others stuffs such as a hotel room, a rental car, public toilet and whatever.
    It is a good manner to make image which others are using it and comfortable. If you imagine the book was read in a dirty toilet by guys and stinks, how would you feel about that? Even if others do not look at you, you remember what you do. So need to take a right way/path to be nicer person. Please think what others will be think about that, if you were seen what you were doing then.

    You see, this is one of the reasons I cancelled my library membership!!!!!

    People take the book into the toilet. They read. They put the book on their lap or the floor so they can wipe & fix their pants up, then they pick the book back up…so before they wash their hands they pick up a book that I am now going to touch next time I check it out of the library…EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

    I don’t think it is rude because I dare say that is not the worst thing that has ever happened to the books but I don’t think it is very hygienic!!!!!
