How to represent "Teens and Libraries" in pictures?

I’m doing a project and the theme is Teens and Libraries. How can I draw out teens and libraries? Thanks!

Skateboarders, on the front steps of the library? With open cell phones, IMing each other? Several books closed and ignored nearby?

I believe that you must begin by analysing the theme "Teens and libraries" by breaking down the topic. You may like to make a seperate concept map for each- one for teens, one for libraries. Approach your concept map by asking:

WHO-Who is classified as a teenager?
A teenager is a child processing into the transition of adolescence (aged 13-19)
Who are the teenagers which regularly attend libraries?
Teenagers who attend libraries are mainly students

WHAT- What is the purpose of a library?
The purpose of libraries is to provide communities with a range of educational resources and entertainment through different forms of media and events. These include software, internet, audio tapes, CDS, DVDS, VHS, magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias, books and dictionaries, study areas, computer rooms, reading lounges and tutoring
What do libraries provide teenagers with?
Libraries provide teenagers with assistance, knowledge and guidance into their development of maturity

    WHERE- Where are libraries located?
Libraries are located in schools and suburbs

WHEN- When are libraries used by teenagers?
Libraries are used for researching purposes, and other educational purposes

HOW- How do libraries affect teenagers?
Libraries influence a teenagers performance in school

WHY- Why are libraries important for teenagers?
Libraries are important because they teach teenagers research skills

Then take things further by asking yourself similar questions relating to the affetcs and influence of study

Using this information you may create a visual representaion such as a collage, a poster or a power point to explain the emphasis or the effect of libraries in the lives of teenagers. You may even have seperate sections relating to education and entertainment. Key words and phrases will also make your visual more articulate, expressive and strong thus more appealing. You may have such phrases appealing to teenagers such as "Study before you party" "Grades were not made to fade" "Hard work pays off" Libraries are our future" Work hard now so you can rest later"

Do not forget to present emotions through body language and symbols in people:
Emotions of thoughtfulness as someone studies
Emotions of happiness as students high five one another
Emotions of success and pride as two people shake hands

Think: Where does success take you?
It takes you to a positive future where opportunities are available to you. Illustrate opportunities in your project

Also use colours like Green- Green influences enhanced study
    Blue- enhances concentration
    Black- expresses professionalism
Yellow- this is the first colour someone notices

This is the method I use for my projects at school. I hope that it has helped you just as much as it helps me GOOD LUCK!
