Can you have 2 different libraries in itunes?

My sister and i want to download diffrent stuff into our ipods but we use the same computer how do we work that out?

i installed mine and it automatically put all her music into mine…

can there be like different libraries for each ipod?>

Yes it is possible, but you have to set up different user accounts on the computer for the two of you and download the latest itunes software from the site. Careful though, the ipod will look at these separate libraries as belonging to separate computers; so when you ipod is connected make sure you are under your computer account and vice versa or your ipod will crash on you and that is no fun.
Good Luck!

iTunes when it comes to trying to share music to other people is a bitch. They programed itunes and the ipods that are used with them to only function with one library to try to prevent from getting non legal copies of the music files. This is why it is hard to do what you are trying to do.
What i recommend is putting all your songs into one playlist and all of hers in another then when you sync the ipod click on the music tab and click selected playlist and only select your playlist. This should only put on those songs
