I just want it to be the main ipod for the main library on itunes, instead of being under devices as "Tylers Ipod". Can you help me?
When you plug in your new ipod there should be a place to rename the ipod and make it replace your old one.

You can find some great books in charity shops,cheap too!
I work in a library so use it mostly for reading material.
Most libraries have book sales on now & again which are quite cheap, i do love a rummage in second hand shops & car boots too for that bargain book!!
I don’t read mags cos i’m really not interested in which celeb has just had implants/split up yar dah yar dah yar!!!!

P&S you are my people!
I’m starting to find all these (!) in my iTunes library and it’s driving me crazy.
It’s asking me to locate the folder where the songs are. And a few days ago it asked me to ‘pick a library’ for iTunes for some reason. Apparently there are two libraries with different dates on them and I’ve no idea what to make of it. I have over 7700 songs in iTunes and would hate to lose any of them.

If they were deleted from your actual "my documents" then they wont play on itunes. They’re probably in your recycle bin so u have 2 go there and refresh them.
The library provides reading material, mainly books, but also reference books, newspapers, magazines, journals, maps, internet service, videos and other types of information media for FREE to the public/cardholders.
Some materials have to stay on library premises and others can be loaned (for free) for a designated period of time.
maybe you basically moved the songs from your library to your cd instead of putting a copy of them on there

I have made itunes my player but all the music in this admin folder seems stuck and i cant tranfer like i used to.
This may help.Try puting Limewire alongside I tunes on your screen ie minimise I tunes, try dragging the individual song from limewire file and put it into your I tunes library.Check numbers of songs in Itunes library to see if it works.
I have some drum samples in wav format for other apps and I want to use them with FL Studio . How to add these in FL Studio . Do u need to copy the sound folder to some folder like installation directory or something ? Thanks .
You can drap & drop them on the channel list, or add them to your browser bar by adding the folder with the samples in the file settings dialog

I have roughly 20gb of music on my laptops HD and a further 40gb on an ext. HD. I would like to have all of this music in one place: my Ipod, and nothing on my computers HD (as this is taking up valuble space). I’m using the latest version of itunes and am finding that, when my ipod is plugged in, I am unable to listen to tracks directly off my Ipod. I’m sure that earlier versions of itunes allowed me to do this.
I do not want to have to carry around my ext HD with me when i travel with my laptop but don’t mind carrying my ipod. Ideally, I’d like to ve able to have No music on my laptop, but be able to plug in my Ipod and listen to music through Itunes. Perhaps I’ll have to give up Itunes for Senuti?

Try going into iTunes and setting your iPod for "Disc Use". Its only a guess but that worked to allow me to use iDump direct from the iPod. You could also try using an other player instead of iTunes. Download.Com has some good offerings.
Also you may consider using some Travel Speakers docked directly onto your Pod. Its a low tech solution, but it works!
