Flash animation .. can we automatically update all images referenced from library?

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

I have a flash animation .. where I used few images. they are all set in library..

Now i updated the animation and new images used are large in size .. I have updated the library..

I i play the animation it shows the new images but cropped at old size .. I know I can reach to each frame and change the image size one by one for all but is there any aumoated way .. so that all library refereces are updated .. new images and new size.

best regards….

urgent :::

….
each time i’ve done that, i’ve changed it 1 by 1 with my little fingers
….
But I guess that you can create a script to show them automatically and to choose the size -and place- of the images
-> i mean : you let them in the extern library, and the script make them appear when the animation is playing.
some kind of movieclip content updating and objectlistener per frame……..
Something like that……

Is there any library its books you can use by internet. I mean they send a book you apply for?

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

I need some books that I can’t find them. Some years ago I typed some books which were supposed to be transferred on CDs for student’s use in U.S.A libraries. I want to know is there a bibrary which gives such a service to public through internet.

Public Library? Sure. Many public Libraries in the US participate in a service known as ILL (Library Interloan). Ever heard of Worldcat? (http://www.worldcat.org/)

This service, provided by OCLC, allows Interloan of materials from libraries across the nation. The catch of the service is: we’re not MAILING it you. Dirty secret: If we mail stuff between libraries, we can take advantage of special "library rates" in the USPS that makes it cost effective to send a book from Boise to Tallahasse or whatever.

If you’re talking ONLINE READABLE books… it’s coming soon. Google as an e-Books project, and you can also try looking up Project Gutenburg (http://www.gutenberg.org/), amongst many.

is there a free ipod transfer software that dosn’t require admin rights? I use the library comp?

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

I dont mind if its a freeware or shareware, 10 at a time or something like that, but I need something that I can extract my music from my ipod at the library, and I can only install some softwares, I cant find one that dosnt require admin rights, any ideas?

No free, I downloaded a program called ‘Cucusoft iPod/iTouch/iPhone to Computer Transfer’ to help me at http://www.dvdtoipodtouch.org/ipod-touch-to-computer-transfer.html
It is an iPod/iTouch/iPhone backup tool to help you easily copy / transfer all files from your iPod/iTouch/iPhone to PC.
It’s fast, easy and very wonderful. I think it is a good choice. You can download it to help you too.

The seven accredited schools are: School of Library and Information Studies at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia; Graduate School of Library and Information Studies, McGill University, Montreal, Quebec; Ecole de bibliotheconomie et des sciences de l’information, Universite de Montreal, Montreal, Quebec; Faculty of Library and Information Science, University of Toronto, Toronto, Ontario; School of Library and Information Science, University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario; School of Library and Information Studies, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta; and School of Library, Archival and Information Studies, University of British Columbia, Vancouver, British Columbia (see Appendix A for information about these school and Appendix B for course content of the Canadian special library courses). Each of these schools has different emphases, different strengths, and a different approach to education for librarianship.

How do you sync your library to your iphone on the remote app for the iphone?

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

I have no clue how to sync my library to my iphone with the remote app. It gives me that number and i have no idea what to do with it.

You cannot sync. The application Remote, for the iPhone lets you control your itunes (as in change the song or video) from your iPhone whenever you are in the same wireless zone as your computer.

Can you introduce me a good and complete online library?

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

Hi;

I am looking for complete online libraries like Google Book. As you know, Google Book provides a very complete collection in a broad range of subjects from literature to computer to fiction and etc. I’ m more interested in IT and Computer science books, especially the text (reference) books which are used in the university level.

Thank you

ask your local library

Do you have to swipe your student card to get into a University of Toronto library?

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

can a non-student get in?

It depends on the library. At Robarts, you can get in the doors, but not into the stacks. To get into the stacks you need to be a UofT student, alumni, or a visiting scholar, that is, faculty or graduate student at another university. The public can access the collections, but not directly.

The college libraries are more easy going and set their own rules. Check the individual library’s policy to see. Below is a link to the library listing.

Is there a Search engine that Will allow me to Search all the Libraries in America for a book?

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

Is there a search engine that will let me enter a book title and scan all the public libraries in the US to see if any of them have it? University libraries as well?

The Gutenberg Project has tens of thousands of books available for free download in pdf

http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/main_page….

If, by chance, there is something you can’t find there… then one of my English professors gave me this site, which is basically the same thing and was put together by the University of Pennsylvania:

http://onlinebooks.library.upenn.edu/lis…

All copyrighted material is illegal to download. Here are some sites that have non-copywrited material for reading:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/bro…
http://etext.lib.virginia.edu/ebooks/……
http://www.thefreelibrary.com/
http://www.baen.com/library/
http://www.ebooks3.com/
http://www.bookyards.com/
http://www.redbirdstudio.com/e_books/……
http://www.free-online-novels.com/……
http://www.bibliomania.com/1/frameset.ht…
http://www.starry.com/novel/authors.htm….
http://www.bygosh.com/features.htm……
http://www.bygosh.com/thebestnovels.htm….
http://www.bookspot.com/ask/
http://www.bookspot.com/

But I would try the Gutenberg Project first. I think their collection is more extensive.
